Piercing
Tongue piercing
Tongue piercings have become increasingly popular. A tongue piercing is a piercing body piercing is a form of body modification. It involves piercing a part of the human body and subsequently inserting and keeping a foreign object in the opening until the wound heals. This forms a tunnel of skin around the foreign object, thus creating a suitable place for wearing different types of jewelry.
The tongue piercing, consisting of a barbell through the center of the tongue. To avoid damaging nerve system tongue rings are generally placed vertically at the center of the tongue, in front of the "webbing" or lingual frenulum which attaches the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. Alternately, pairs of "snake bite" piercings could be done on either side of center, giving the appearance of fangs.
Tongues are often very easy to stretch, so enlarging the hole is also an option after healing. Like with any stretching, this should be done gradually - no faster than one size in 2 monthes.
Eyebrow piercing
Eyebrow piercing first turned up in the 80es, and have become very popular. Eyebrow piercing is purely aesthetic piercing. It does not have a recognized symbolic meaning associated with it. It draws attention to the upper face and eyes, either opening the gaze or intensifying it (depending on the placement).
The final look of your eyebrow piercings will depend not only on your eyebrow jewelry choice, but also on the placement of the eyebrow rings ( or other jewelry piercings like barbells). Placed on the outer third of the brow, the piercing will make the eyes appear wider set. Piercing closer to the bridge of the nose, the inner third of the eyebrow, lends an intense seriousness to the expression. Usual placement is towards the outer end of the eyebrow above the outer edge of the iris as you look straight forward. This location is pleasing on almost any face.
Ear Piercing
The ears are the most common body part that is regularly pierced. Even though people often get other body parts pierced, that usually occurs after the child reaches an age where they can make their own decisions for themselves.
The most usual form of piercing in the world today is ear piercing. Our society easily accepted ear piercing as common practice and it has become more normal for both sexes than it once was. Ear piercing can be as "shy" as a single hole in one or both ears or be as "prominent" as holes along the entire rim of the ear. While currently fashionable, multiple piercings are nothing new: the University of Pennsylvania Museum exhibits a 4000 year-old clay figure with multiple-pierced ears! As almost with any body piercing jewelry you can use regular earrings, barbells or studs. Even very conservative person will not mind small gold stud as a second earring
Nose piercing
Nose piercing is very attractive, and can draw attention to the face, because the nose is the face's most prominent limb; Leonardo Da Vinci thought that the nose set the character of the person
Nose piercing appears in the historical scripts approximately 4,000 years ago, it is mentioned in The Bible in Genesis 24:22 - Abraham requested his oldest servant to find a wife for his son, the servant found Rebekah, and one of the expensive gifts he gave her was a "Nezem" the original Hebrew word used is translates as "nose rings"
Septum piercings - A piercing through the center of the nose.
Nostril piercings - A piercing of the soft tissue that surrounds the outside of the nasal passages (nose).
Jungle piercings - A vertical piercing through the septum and out through the underside center of the nose.
Lip piercing
The term "labret", correctly pronounced "la-bret" (rhyme with "the bet") generally refers to a single piercing on a lower lip below the center, about half-way between the edge of the lower lip and the top of the chin. Labrets can also be done in pairs, usually to either side of center. (Some folks call lower labrets, especially lower pairs, as "lowbrets.")
Nipple piercing
Nipple jewelry has been used to show signs of strength by guards of Roman Caesars. Some historians says that Victorian women would pierce their nipples and hand a chain on them.. Regardless, nipple piercing are not only very elegant piercing to see, but also rather titillating to the wearer.
The smallest jewelry men should consider is a 14g. Any thinner might grow out or tear and leave a scar if played with too hard. Women need slightly thicker jewelry because their nipples are not only larger, but also subject to abuse from bras, etc. Generally a 12g is sufficient. Also you might want to consider Barbells instead of Nipple Rings since they put less pressure on your nipples and generally heals quickly.
At Pretty Piercing, we offer nipple piercing and more! Pretty-Piercing.com is dedicated to offering high quality nipple rings at the lowest jewelry prices on the internet. Our body jewelry customers are faithful and return for orders in the future.
Navel piercing
Belly Button rings is the most popular piercing. No other piercing marks the modern American piercing scene like the navel piercing. Why pierce belly button? You can get two completely different answers from an anthropologist or from an angry parent. But if you ask the average person considering the belly button rings or other navel jewelry, you will probably hear that it is just plain sexy. Fashion designers know it. No wonder that low-rider jeans hit the runways as models felt the urge to accessorize their bellies. The spark of jewelry on a bare midriff just so softly hints at something more going on...
Genital Male Piercing
Male penis piercings are becoming more and more popular!
The Prince Albert (PA) is the most common male genital piercing. The name comes from the legend that, like his contemporaries, Queen Victoria's husband wore a "dressing ring" in the tip of his penis, so it could be strapped to his leg, thus eliminating that unsightly bulge in his fashionably tight trousers. Whether this is true is the subject of much debate.
The piercing consists of a ring or circular barbell which goes in the end of the urethra and exits through a hole on the underside of the penis where the glans meets the shaft. Although it may look scary initially, this piercing is actually easy to sit through, and even easier to heal since the tissue being pierced is very thin (but very strong).
Female body piercing
Genital female piercings are by far the most erotic, sensual, controversial, and lately...the most popular form of bodily enhancement. There are a wide variety of reasons women choose to pierce their genetalia, whether it be to celebrate a slave/master relationship, to enhance sexual stimulation, or simply to adorn the body with yet more shiny jewelry.
For most people, some of the genital piercing are very stimulating, while others are mainly aesthetic. However, since we all like different types of play, the results will vary. But in general, inner and outer labia piercings are largely decorative, though lots of weight on inner labia piercings can feel good, and may also help pull your clit out from under your hood. Clit piercing (Clitoral hood) is a great choice if you want lots of sensation with relatively little pain investment. But do remember that the horizontal hood piercing does not usually give nearly as much of a thrill as the vertical. The Princess Albertina can open the door to a whole new kind of orgasm if you like urethral stimulation.
